Photography Sessions

The flowers in bloom will vary with the season.  This is a working flower farm, so we harvest flowers in the spring, April to June.  However, we have display gardens in the works which will not be harvested from in the Spring, and it is an option to purchase buckets of blooms to add to your photo shoot.   In the summer months the flowers are not heavily harvested from, so more is in bloom in different locations around the field.

Wear appropriate shoes as WE ARE ON HILLY TERRAIN, and there may be muddy areas.

We invite you to attend one of our monthly Bloom Bar or You Pick events to get a sense of what the farm is like.  Also, certain photographers will likely become more familiar with the farm over time and know what to expect.  You can also contact me for more options deb@iron-butterfly.com

Please DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG for these events.  We have three friendly mid-size wiggle-butts who may jump and want to kiss you, so please use caution and be aware that there are dogs.   The main flower fields are enclosed by a fence to keep the dogs out of your way while photographing.  We can also make sure the dogs are put away for any photos that you want to take outside the fenced area.

There is a sign when you pull in to park on the grass to the right of the long flat driveway.   

There is a portable restroom on site.
